ADLAX Syrup is a Sodium Picosulfate Syrup B.P., a stimulant laxative formulated to provide effective and predictable relief from constipation. It works by stimulating bowel movements and promoting natural evacuation, helping restore regular bowel function with gentle action.
ADLAX Syrup is indicated for the treatment and management of:
Chronic and acute constipation
Drug-induced constipation
Constipation associated with sedentary lifestyle or dietary changes
Bowel evacuation prior to diagnostic or surgical procedures (as advised by physician)
Sodium Picosulfate acts locally in the colon, stimulating intestinal peristalsis and increasing bowel motility.
It promotes accumulation of water in the intestines, softening stools and facilitating smooth and comfortable bowel evacuation.
Together, this ensures effective relief without significant abdominal discomfort.
Dosage: As directed by the physician.
Usually administered at bedtime to allow bowel movement the following morning.
Shake well before use.
ADLAX Syrup is generally well tolerated when used as recommended.
